How does the commission process work?

  1. You fill out the commission form

  2. I respond by email (typically 1-3 days but message me on Instagram or Telegram if I don’t)

  3. We discuss any further details of the commission

  4. I give you a quote for how much the commission will cost

  5. I will send you a PayPal invoice once I am ready to begin work on your commission

  6. Once you have made the payment I will begin working on your commission

  7. I will send you progress pictures and you can ask for changes

  8. I will get you to approve each stage before proceeding to the next

  9. When the commission is finished you will have a final chance to ask for any small changes (or large changes at an extra cost)

  10. I will email you the full quality PNG of the finished artwork. (You can also ask for a transparent version or sticker outline version to be sent additionally)

How long will my commission take?The amount of time it takes me to finish a commission entirely depends on the type of commission, the amount of commissions in my queue and how busy I am in other areas of my life at the time. I will give you a rough time estimate when I accept your commission and will give you updates throughout, including if anything happens that might make it take longer. You can also check the trello queue to see what stage your commission is at.
What art program do you use?I use Procreate on iPad Pro.
What dimensions/resolution do you work in?I typically work in 1080x1350px at 300DPI for Instagram posts, but will often work in larger sizes. I am comfortable working in A4 (2480x3508px). The maximum size I will work in is A3 (3508x4960px) but will charge extra for this as Procreate reduces the layers available the larger the canvas size. Please let me know if there is a specific canvas size or resolution you would like.
Can I upgrade/add extras to my commission mid-way through?Yes! E.g. if you have commissioned a flat colour icon (for 20USD) and decide you actually want a shaded version too, I am happy to invoice you the extra 10USD to do that for you. This also applies to adding extras to a character reference sheet such as sideview, pawshot, outfits, etc.
Do you offer physical/traditional artwork such as con badges?I don't offer these yet but I hope to in the future! I would need to figure out the pricing regarding traditional material costs, printing, laminating, etc. For now I am happy to make a digital badge for you to print and laminate yourself though!
Do you take NSFW commissions?I do take suggestive and NSFW commissions, however I may charge extra depending on the nature of the request. I am also free to refuse any commission I don't feel comfortable drawing. I am open to discussing with you to come up with an idea you like which I am also happy to draw. I just ask that you keep it professional. I will not tolerate rude behaviour.
